Where can I study with Guy Livingston? How can I meet him?

Mr. Livingston teaches privately in Paris during the year, and each summer he coaches students in classes in France or the United States. In 2011, you could have caught up with him at Fresno, part of the California State School system. Fresno is hot, and the summer is even hotter, but never mind that: the faculty included not only Guy, but also the Kronos Quartet, Stefan Poetsch, Ann Moss, and of course the performer, composer and brilliant leader Benjamin Boone. Click on the image below to view a pdf summary of the institute, and click here to find out more from the Summer Arts website. It was great fun! Here is a terrific piece written by a talented young composer, which we recorded at the end of the session: Ramblings of a Social Network (mp3) with Ann Moss, coloratura, by Carlos Gamboa.

You can email Guy about studying with him in Amsterdam or Paris.
