Food! Ketsup & Diners

AMERICAN HIGHWAYS #11: Ketsup & Diners

In this episode of American Highways, pianist Guy Livingston brings us music to chew on, to savor, to delight our palates, and to satiate our ears. Peel me a grape; French me a Fry; Poach me a brain!

Food and music are both obsessions in my family, and so my story starts with memories of being a kid and rolling out pasta in time to Rossini opera overtures. And moves on to more mature themes; in fact the show ends with the hilarious Dinner for a Pack of Hungry Cannibals, by Raymond Scott. Tough or delicious? You decide.
